Why we do this workIt started in 2014, when Co-Founder Jeff Goldman helped build the legal framework for the country's first cap-exempt H-1B program alongside USCIS and Massachusetts State Governor Deval Patrick. In 2018, Jeff and his daughter Danielle Goldman turned that model into Open Avenues Foundation: the first nonprofit to offer cap-exempt H-1B sponsorship through part-time work with students.
Eight years, 325+ companies, and 5,500+ students later, that same spirit of building what didn't exist before drives everything Build does. Build has expanded that same proven model into a suite of signature immigration programs, opening new doors for global talent, giving companies the tools to hire the world's best, and working alongside forward-thinking immigration attorneys to turn complex challenges into real solutions.
